Food & Basic Assistance

Based in Jersey City, NJ, Food & Basic Assistance is dedicated to alleviating hunger and providing essential resources for individuals and families in crisis. Our comprehensive food assistance programs include weekly walk-in food pantries offering a selection of refrigerated, frozen, and non-perishable items, as well as a virtual food pantry for homebound clients to access groceries safely from home. We also provide mixed produce bags, periodic packaged dinner meals, supermarket gift cards, and necessary supplies like diapers and period products for our registered clients. During the holiday season, we organize a Thanksgiving distribution program to ensure that everyone can share in the spirit of giving. We are committed to supporting our community with urgent and compassionate assistance during times of need.
