Leonard Pisano

Dr. Leonard V. Pisano, a seasoned psychologist with a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, brings over 30 years of experience to his role as a school psychologist. He has dedicated his career to providing psychological services to both general and special education students, performing detailed evaluations that include Psycho-educational and School Neuropsychological assessments. These evaluations focus on various facets, such as identifying strengths and weaknesses, understanding information utilization, and analyzing the influence of learning environments on student development. Dr. Pisano employs a range of therapeutic services including consultation, advocacy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT). His strategies incorporate motivational interviewing and goal-setting techniques to assist individuals experiencing adjustment problems and to develop effective coping strategies. In addition to Dr. Pisano's expertise, Dr. Anindita Chaudhuri, a Psy.D. graduate in school psychology from Rutgers, has joined the practice as an Associate. Dr. Chaudhuri also specializes in comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations and treatments for adults, adolescents, and children dealing with mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, familial dysfunction, and school-related challenges through an integrative and strengths-based approach.
