Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels of Mercer County is dedicated to providing essential meal delivery services to homebound seniors aged 60 and older in Hightstown, NJ. Our program focuses on meeting basic nutritional needs with the delivery of home-cooked meals, ensuring that every senior receives the sustenance they require. We also offer a range of additional services, including nutrition counseling and education, a pet pantry for furry companions, and a friendly visiting program to combat loneliness. Our clients can access non-perishable groceries, blizzard boxes for emergencies, senior farmers market vouchers, and special holiday meals. Meals are delivered daily by caring volunteers from Monday to Friday between 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. At Meals on Wheels of Mercer County, we believe that no senior should face hunger due to financial constraints, which is why we provide subsidized meal options and medically-tailored meals as necessary. There is a non-refundable processing fee during the assessment, but support options through government funding or health care plans, including Medicaid, may be available.
