Briget Nunn

Briget Nunn, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), is deeply committed to guiding individuals on their journey toward self-discovery and healing. She has a passion for helping her clients uncover the ‘root ball’ of their distress and views it as a privilege to be a part of their transformative experiences. Briget firmly believes that the foundation of effective therapy is a trusting therapeutic relationship, and she utilizes a multicultural and strength-based approach that respects each individual’s uniqueness while fostering self-efficacy. She creates a non-judgmental space where clients can safely express their truths. Her therapeutic techniques are diverse and include evidence-based interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and both play and art therapy. Briget is also actively pursuing trauma certifications to further enhance her skills. She emphasizes the importance of connecting meaningfully to one’s values to lead a fully engaged life and focuses on identifying and overcoming internal barriers that hinder that connection. Through her strength-based framework, Briget works diligently to enhance her clients' sense of self while addressing negative thoughts and feelings, ultimately guiding them toward a more fulfilling life.
