MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program in Garfield, NJ, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to screen each Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, ensuring they have access to personalized weight management services that cater to their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of resources, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! program, which connects Veterans with clinicians for in-home support. The MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers those who wish to manage their weight independently. For Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
