Marcia Lite-braus is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over twenty years of experience, dedicated to empowering her clients to manage difficult situations and relationships. With expertise in therapy types such as EMDR, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), she provides adults struggling with depression, anxiety, and relationship issues the tools they need to make better decisions and cultivate healthier mindsets. Marcia primarily works with individuals aged 21 to 65, focusing on single adults navigating the complexities of dating and coping with feelings of loneliness. Many of her clients have faced trauma, abuse, or abandonment in their childhood, and together, they address the challenges arising from codependency and raise self-esteem. In her practice, Marcia creates a safe and trusting atmosphere that encourages open exploration of personal issues. More than just a conversational therapist, she is results-oriented, guiding clients to transform their lives and leave their past behind. Before establishing her private practice, she served as a therapist at Overlook Hospital's Behavioral Health Intensive Outpatient Unit, working with individuals, families, and couples.
