Street Smart Outreach

Street Smart Outreach serves the youth and young adults of Elizabeth, NJ, by providing immediate support to those aged 13-21 who may be experiencing homelessness or unsafe living conditions. Our dedicated team identifies at-risk individuals and prioritizes their basic needs through essential services such as food assistance, clothing, blankets, and access to shelter. We offer crisis intervention counseling, transportation to necessary services, and referrals to healthcare and social service agencies. Additionally, we provide information on HIV/AIDS, safe sex practices, and substance abuse education, alongside assistance in obtaining vital documents and resources for job and housing searches. With counselors available 24/7, including Spanish-speaking staff, we are committed to being a reliable source of care and support for young people in crisis in our community.
