MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Elizabeth, NJ, is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellness of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care through VA facilities is screened for obesity annually, with tailored referrals to appropriate weight management services. We offer a variety of options to suit individual needs, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program that provides in-home messaging and clinician support. For those who prefer self-guided approaches, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available to assist with weight management. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing persistent weight-related challenges.
