Street Smart Outreach

Street Smart Outreach is dedicated to supporting youth and young adults aged 13-21 in Edison, NJ, who are facing homelessness or unsafe living conditions. Our compassionate street outreach program aims to identify at-risk individuals and ensure their basic needs are met by providing vital food assistance, clothing, and blankets, as well as access to safe shelter. We offer crisis intervention counseling, transportation to essential services, and referrals to healthcare and social service agencies. Additionally, our program provides essential education on HIV/AIDS awareness and substance abuse, along with support in obtaining crucial documents and finding stable jobs and housing. Our team of outreach counselors is available 24/7, including several who are fluent in Spanish, ready to help those in need during their most difficult times.
