The Welcome to NYC Initiative is a heartfelt program based in Clementon, NJ, dedicated to helping newcomers settle into the vibrant city of New York. Our mission is to ensure that those moving to NYC for the first time receive the comprehensive support they need to thrive. We offer essential resources, including legal services such as initial assessments, know-your-rights guidance, and referrals, alongside non-legal support like travel assistance, interpretation and translation, medical and mental health services. We also provide vital resources for essential needs, including food assistance, clothing, and housing support, as well as access to public benefits and self-help materials. With a compassionate approach, we strive to make the transition to New York as smooth and welcoming as possible for every individual and family we serve.
