Alexis Stein

Alexis Stein, LCSW, is a dedicated Clinical Social Worker and Therapist with a focus on enhancing the quality of life for her clients. She understands that life can sometimes feel unmanageable, and she collaborates with individuals to develop effective communication and coping skills. Specializing in relationship dynamics, marital and premarital counseling, as well as addressing female and male sexual functioning, parenting challenges, maternal and paternal health, trauma, and addiction issues, Alexis fosters a safe space for exploration of anxieties and fears. Her psychotherapeutic approach is primarily psychodynamic yet tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Utilizing a combination of strengths perspective and object relations therapy alongside gestalt principles, Alexis also incorporates cognitive-behavioral techniques such as Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). For couples, her practice draws upon Imago therapy and safety-focused strategies for trauma clients.
