Heather Rafanello is a dedicated clinical social worker and therapist, holding an MSW and LCSW. Inspired by Robert Frost's wisdom that 'the best way out is through,' she serves as a supportive teammate and coach for individuals navigating life's challenges. Recognizing the uniqueness of each person, Heather approaches therapy with the understanding that, much like different houseplants, everyone requires tailored care. She believes that clients are their own experts and aims to empower them to uncover their strengths and transform them into tools for growth. Although rainstorms of life are unavoidable, Heather equips her clients with essential skills to weather these tough times while practicing self-compassion. With a mission to create a safe and nurturing environment, she provides an opportunity for individuals to express themselves, reflect, and grow through adversity. Throughout her career, Heather has embraced a gentle, strengths-based approach, aligning with various therapeutic methodologies such as solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing.
