Welcome to NYC Initiative is dedicated to providing crucial support to newcomers relocating to the vibrant city of New York. Based in Belleville, NJ, our mission is to empower individuals and families by offering essential resources and guidance during their transition. We assist with navigating legal services, providing initial assessments, know-your-rights information, and referrals for legal aid. In addition, our program addresses non-legal needs by offering self-help materials, case management, interpretation and translation services, travel assistance, medical and mental health support, as well as access to necessary essentials like food, clothing, and housing. Our goal is to ensure that every newcomer feels welcomed and equipped to build a successful life in New York City.
