First Step Food Pantry

At First Step Food Pantry in Asbury Park, NJ, we are dedicated to alleviating food insecurity by providing essential food assistance to families in need. Each month, we serve approximately 150 families, ensuring they receive nutritious food packages that support their basic nutritional needs. Our weekly distribution offers enough food for 6-8 meals for a family of four, including a selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, meat or fish, as well as non-perishable items that can create over seven meals. We believe in offering healthy and sustainable options, making a meaningful impact in our community. Food pantry services are available on Fridays, with doors opening at 10:30 AM and tickets for food packages issued at 11:30 AM on a first-come, first-served basis. We invite all those who require support to visit us and take that important step toward food security.
