Elizabeth Joyner is a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, holding a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University. With a deep belief that every individual possesses the ability to change and grow, Elizabeth partners with her clients to foster healing, introspection, and personal development. Her approach is rooted in a collaborative and non-judgmental environment, empowering clients as experts in their own journeys. She effectively utilizes a range of evidence-based techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and Attachment-based therapy, to meet the unique needs of each individual or family she works with. Elizabeth is also a trained facilitator of the Strengthening Families Program, which enhances family relationships and reduces problematic behaviors through evidence-based parenting and life skills training. Catering to preteens, children, teens, and adults, she creates a safe and respectful space where clients feel understood and valued.
