Sunnyside Ministry is dedicated to providing critical food assistance to residents of Winston Salem and surrounding areas in Forsyth and Northern Davidson counties. Our services include a Food Pantry and The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), designed to meet the urgent needs of our community. While we typically offer food from both programs, we inform clients about the possibility of limited availability. Eligibility for TEFAP requires residency in Forsyth County, and we aim to make grocery assistance accessible every 30 days, with a brief interview process. To utilize our Food Pantry, clients need to present a Social Security or ITIN card, a photo ID, and a current piece of mail for address verification. We understand the challenges our community faces and strive to offer a welcoming space where individuals can access vital food resources with care and dignity.
