Andrew Riehl is a compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (MA, LCMHC) who specializes in helping individuals navigate their concerns of stress, emotional disturbance, and life transitions. Many who seek Andrew’s guidance find themselves feeling worried or lacking energy, often expressing a sense of being unheard. He empowers clients to create innovative and effective solutions to their obstacles, with the overarching goal of achieving happiness and a lasting sense of contentment. As an EMDRIA approved basic trained EMDR provider, Andrew primarily employs EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help clients eliminate emotional blocks and move beyond traumatic experiences. Working with teens, adults, and elders, he addresses a wide range of challenges, including stress management, anger, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem. Having had the privilege of serving families across Southeastern North Carolina since he entered the field in 2009, Andrew is dedicated to guiding individuals towards overcoming obstacles and fostering a brighter future.
