NourishNC is a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in Wilmington, NC, committed to combating food insecurity among children in New Hanover County. Our mission is clear: to provide healthy food to hungry children, ensuring they have the nourishment necessary to thrive both academically and socially. By collaborating with school personnel including social workers, counselors, teachers, and school nurses, we identify and enroll children in need of food assistance. Through our programs, we aim to enhance the health and well-being of our youth, empowering them to succeed in the classroom and contribute positively to their communities.
