The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Whiteville, NC, is dedicated to fostering healthy eating habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, alongside infants and children up to five years old. We offer essential services including nutrition education, supplemental food provisions, breastfeeding promotion and support, as well as referrals for health care. In light of COVID-19, we continue to support eligible families with enhanced safety measures; our WIC offices may now provide services through phone and online platforms.
