Sunnyside Ministry is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to residents of Thomasville and the surrounding areas of Forsyth and Northern Davidson counties. Our services encompass two key programs: the Food Pantry and The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). Both programs work together to ensure that families in need have access to emergency food supplies. While clients can typically receive food from both programs, we reserve the right to limit distributions from the Food Pantry based on specific guidelines. For eligibility in TEFAP, individuals simply need to be residents of Forsyth County, though availability may vary due to resource constraints. To access Food Pantry services, we require clients to provide certain documentation, including a Social Security or ITIN card, a picture ID, and a current piece of mail to verify their address. Our commitment is to assist the community with practical solutions to hunger and ensure that every individual can find nourishment and support.
