Rachel Ford is a compassionate and skilled Psychological Associate with a strong commitment to helping individuals navigate life's challenges. With her solution-focused tools, Rachel empowers clients to begin their journey of positive change immediately. Utilizing a blend of cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic approaches, she collaborates with clients to identify goals and develop the understanding and skills necessary for improved life and relationship satisfaction. Her expertise encompasses a range of issues including depression, anxiety, relationship problems, postpartum depression and anxiety, parenting, grief and loss, as well as life transitions. Rachel is passionate about working with clients of all ages, starting from 6 years old to seniors over 65. She earned her Ed.S. in Counseling Psychology from James Madison University and holds a Master’s degree in Family and Child Development from Virginia Tech. Furthermore, Rachel completed a pre-doctoral internship at Duke University Counseling and Psychological Services, enriching her therapeutic practice.
