Christen Smith is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (MA, LCMHC) who believes that counseling is a collaborative relationship that explores all areas impacting overall well-being. Her goal is to empower clients to face their struggles and take intentionally guided steps toward healthy change. Christen works with individuals who experience various challenges, including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, infertility, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, eating disorders, self-harm, and family relational issues. With extensive experience and passion for working with adolescent girls and adult women, she understands the unique issues they face. Since beginning her counseling career in 2014, Christen has gained valuable experience in an intensive in-home setting, outpatient settings, and inpatient eating disorder hospitals. She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Christen is dedicated to walking alongside clients on their journey toward optimal well-being, where empowerment and intentionality begin with just one conversation.
