Tasha Boileau is a compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health services to school-aged children (ages 5 to 12), adolescents, and adults. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences from the University of Florida and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of South Florida, Tasha has built a solid foundation in her field since 2011. She has amassed five years of experience in various settings, including outpatient therapy, residential care, child development programs, and private practice. Currently participating in the esteemed North Carolina Child Treatment Program for Certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and trained in Level II EMDR by EMDRIA, Tasha employs evidence-based practices to address a broad spectrum of issues such as trauma and PTSD, ADHD, conduct disorders, depression, anxiety, and abuse reactions. Her proficiency extends to art therapy, family therapy, play therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), with a special focus on child-centered approaches. Tasha values the importance of involving parents in the therapeutic process when appropriate, fostering a collaborative environment for healing and growth.
