The Supplemental Staples Food Program, part of the Matthews HELP Center in Matthews, NC, is dedicated to alleviating food insecurity by providing essential food assistance to those in need. Each client receives three days' worth of groceries that focus on meeting basic nutritional needs, alongside hygiene and cleaning supplies such as laundry detergent and dish soap. We offer our services every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., but please remember that visits are by appointment only; walk-ins cannot be accommodated. To access our emergency food pantry, we encourage clients to complete the Client Inquiry Form on our website prior to their visit, allowing us to better serve our community during these critical times.
