MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Marion, NC, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission is centered on providing comprehensive support to Veterans by conducting annual obesity screenings at VA facilities and connecting them with personalized treatment options that cater to their unique needs and preferences. We offer a variety of weight management services including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which allows Veterans to receive in-home support. Additionally, the MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers Veterans who prefer an independent approach to managing their weight. For those facing persistent weight challenges, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery after the MOVE! program.
