By providing comprehensive training without tuition fees, we ensure accessibility for all aspiring Fellows who are passionate about promoting social, environmental, and economic justice in agriculture. Over a six-month, hands-on experiential program at our Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows receive education in organic food systems and engage in impactful community projects such as growing and distributing diverse crops, supporting farmers markets, and enhancing food literacy in schools. Following this immersive experience, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year where they collaborate with regional non-profits, creating solutions that expand access to healthy food sources. Applications are accepted until March each year, and the fellowship experience typically unfolds from May to October.
