Alyssa Mowery, MA, LCMHCA, NCC, is a dedicated counselor who understands the diverse challenges individuals face in their mental health journeys. She creates a safe and nonjudgmental environment where clients of all ages—from children and preteens to teenagers and adults—can explore their feelings and experiences. Alyssa believes in the importance of collaboration, working closely with her clients to identify personalized goals that pave the way for healing and growth. Her integrative and eclectic approach to therapy draws from a rich variety of modalities, including mindfulness-based techniques, expressive arts, cognitive behavioral therapy, and person-centered methods, among others. With experience addressing an array of issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions, Alyssa’s hope is for each client to leave her sessions feeling more empowered and hopeful than when they arrived.
