Kaitlin Barnhill is a dedicated Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UNCC, specializing in Addiction Counseling. She focuses on a person-centered approach, skillfully tailoring various therapeutic modalities to meet the unique needs of her clients, ranging from adolescents to elders grappling with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and PTSD. Recently, Kaitlin completed basic training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy) to further support her clients' healing journeys. With extensive training in person-centered therapy, she understands the importance of the therapeutic relationship, ensuring her clients feel comfortable discussing their concerns. Kaitlin fosters an environment of congruency, positive regard, and empathy, which is essential for cultivating strong therapeutic connections. Outside of therapy, she treasures time spent with her family and her two golden retrievers.
