The Ada Jenkins Food Pantry in Huntersville, NC, is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to individuals and families who face food insecurity. With a focus on empowering clients, we allow them to shop for their own groceries from a carefully curated selection based on nutritionally balanced options provided in collaboration with Loaves & Fishes. Eligible client-partners are able to access emergency food services up to eight times each year, with a referral required for participation. To obtain a referral, clients can contact the Loaves & Fishes Administrative Office, where they will receive guidance on the process of picking up their food. Please note that a photo ID is necessary for the referral application, and a signed letter is needed if food is being picked up on behalf of someone else. In response to the ongoing pandemic, our pantry has transitioned to a convenient weekly drive-thru service, allowing families to easily pick up pre-packaged grocery bags safely from our parking lot. We are here to support our community, ensuring that everyone has access to the nourishment they need.
