Sookia Staggers is a compassionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides a supportive environment for individuals and families seeking to explore their feelings, thoughts, and behavior patterns without fear of judgment. With over 10 years of experience in the field, Sookia understands that the decision to enter therapy can be challenging. Sookia works with a diverse range of clients, including children, preteens, teens, adults, and couples, addressing common issues such as anxiety, ADHD, deployment challenges, stress management, life transitions, grief and loss, and family relationship difficulties. She specializes in various therapeutic techniques, including Experiential Therapy, Play Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Sandplay, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), allowing her to tailor her methods to meet the unique needs of each client. Sookia earned her Master’s in Social Work from Barry University and her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Loyola University of New Orleans.
