Dena Marie Johnson, an experienced counselor with credentials as an LCMHCA, LCASA, and NCC, offers a welcoming environment for women and teenagers grappling with POCD. She is dedicated to creating a space where individuals can candidly discuss their fears surrounding sexuality and identity, especially those within the LGBTQ+ community, newlyweds, and those exploring their sexual desires. Dena's practice is especially supportive for those with physical disabilities impacting their sex lives and for parents of LGBTQ+ children. With empathy and open-mindedness, she assists clients in navigating the complexities of their thoughts and feelings related to sex and sexuality. Utilizing evidence-based techniques such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dena ensures her clients achieve meaningful improvements in their lives. Growing up with five sisters and raising four children herself, Dena has experienced firsthand the significance of open conversations about sexuality in her own family.
