Located in Greenville, NC, the Tar River Region Food Pantry is dedicated to addressing food insecurity by providing emergency food assistance to individuals and families in need. We focus on offering healthy food options and promoting nutritional awareness, ensuring that our community members receive the support they require. Our food pantry allows families to access essential food supplies once every 30 days, and we also provide referrals to additional community food banks to meet their ongoing needs. Beyond food assistance, we assess families for other necessary services, connecting them with Catholic Charities and other local partners. In response to COVID-19, we have adapted our operations to a curbside pickup model, prioritizing the safety and well-being of our clients while continuing to serve those facing challenging times.
