Mary Sue Olcott is a dedicated Clinical Social Worker and Therapist with a Master of Social Work (MSW) and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential, graduating in 1995 from Virginia Commonwealth University. She specializes in group therapy, recognizing the impact of social connections on personal growth and healing. Mary believes that life unfolds within groups, making group therapy an enriching experience for understanding oneself in relation to others. In addition to her group work, she offers individualized therapy for adults, addressing significant concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, co-dependency, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. With a particular passion for supporting gay and lesbian clients and those who care for them, Mary takes pride in creating a safe and affirming space for all individuals. Committed to ongoing professional development, she is currently training in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), continuing her journey as an ever-evolving student of the therapeutic arts.
