With extensive experience working with individuals from diverse socio-economic backgrounds and cultures, he specializes in a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, life transitions, women's issues, post-traumatic stress, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, substance abuse, and more. Shawn's therapeutic approach is best described as Holistic & Integrative, emphasizing self-empowerment and collaboration. He utilizes an array of evidence-based strategies tailored to meet individual needs, including Mindfulness and body-centered approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Expressive Art Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, and National Certified Counselor, Shawn offers his expertise to pre-teens, adolescents, and adults. He is also a proud professional member of the American Counseling Association (ACA).
