At LiveSTRONG at the YMCA in Conover, NC, we are dedicated to empowering cancer survivors on their journey to a healthier lifestyle. Our transformative program focuses on enhancing well-being through a holistic approach that nurtures spirit, mind, and body. Participants engage in invigorating exercise sessions twice a week, led by certified trainers, incorporating cardiovascular, strength, and stretching exercises alongside supportive group discussions and goal-setting activities. During this complimentary 12-week program, individuals have unlimited access to all YMCA facilities and classes, receive expert nutrition guidance from a registered dietitian, and benefit from weekly support sessions. Attendees also receive a LiveSTRONG wristband, guidebook, planner, and journal to aid in their journey. Importantly, individuals currently undergoing treatment are welcome to join us, fostering a compassionate community committed to resilience and recovery without requiring YMCA membership.
