Heather Fangman, MS Ed., LCMHC, is a dedicated licensed clinical mental health counselor who brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her practice. A Miami University graduate with a BA in psychology, she later completed her master's degree in community counseling at Youngstown State University. With a rich array of experience, Heather offers individual, family, and group counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults, addressing critical issues such as abuse, neglect, depression, anxiety, postpartum depression, high conflict divorce, and reunification therapy. Her passion for play therapy, along with her focus on perinatal mood disorders and trauma, underscores her holistic approach to mental health. Specializing in cognitive behavioral and person-centered therapy, Heather artfully integrates mindfulness and expressive arts techniques into her sessions. Her professional journey also includes roles in community-based social work, therapeutic foster care case management, academic coaching, and childbirth education. Furthermore, Heather is trained as a birth doula, having learned from the esteemed Penny Simkin at the Seattle Midwifery School.
