Lauren Cardwell, MSW, LCSW, is a dedicated clinical therapist who recognizes that the journey of being human can be both challenging and complex. Specializing in Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and trauma-focused techniques, she affirms LGBTQ+ identities and works with a diverse clientele, including individuals, children, adults, couples, and families. Lauren brings valuable experience from her work in various inpatient settings, catering to newborns and families, children, adults, and individuals at the end of life. Her areas of interest include chronic illness, grief and loss, medical professional burnout, and perinatal and postpartum challenges, particularly within the special needs community. Originally from Michigan, Lauren relocated to North Carolina in 2018, and she holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Cornerstone University and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Western Michigan University, focusing on individuals and families.
