Jake Bradley Lamers is a dedicated LPC Intern committed to fostering positive change through collaborative work with his clients. He believes in the power of identifying and achieving unique goals, employing a solution-focused treatment approach alongside cognitive behavioral techniques to help clients overcome barriers that hinder their quality of life. Jake emphasizes the interconnectedness of physical and mental well-being in his practice. Currently in his graduate studies at the University of the Cumberlands, he aspires to become a Clinical Mental Health Counselor under the supervision of Jessica Booth, LMFT, LCAS-A at Cognitive Psychiatry of Chapel Hill. With experience assisting adult clients dealing with anxiety, grief, and depression, Jake is well-prepared to support his clients through their challenges. Having lived in the Triangle area for 20 years, he holds an undergraduate degree in psychology from North Carolina State University. In his free time, Jake enjoys playing tennis, spending time with friends and family, and taking walks with his two dogs. He envisions opening a private practice upon earning his licensing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
