Located in Chapel Hill, NC, the Durham Community Food Pantry, a part of the Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh, is dedicated to alleviating food insecurity in Durham and Orange counties by offering essential food assistance to individuals and families in need. Our food pantry provides access to a week's worth of emergency food each month, ensuring that local residents can nourish themselves and their loved ones. In addition to food services, we host the Reverend Joseph G. Vetter Family Enrichment Center, offering valuable resources like budgeting and nutrition classes to empower our community. We also collaborate with the Scrap Exchange to enhance the support available for families who visit the pantry. New clients will begin with a brief interview, after which they can regularly receive nutritious food assistance.
