Lisa James Silverman is a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in treating teenagers, adults, couples, and families. She approaches each individual without judgment, creating an environment filled with warmth, acceptance, and compassion. Many of her clients often find themselves feeling stuck, struggling with anxiety or depressive symptoms. Lisa’s goal is to collaboratively problem-solve with them, helping to navigate towards peace and understanding. She has a particular interest in areas such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, divorce, grief, parenting concerns, and conflict resolution and communication for couples. Additionally, she teaches Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills to aid in effective problem-solving. Lisa strives to provide a safe, healing space while ensuring the highest degree of confidentiality and fostering exploration of her clients' concerns. Ultimately, her mission is for clients to experience a renewed sense of hope and meaning for their future.
