Located in Boone, NC, the Hunger & Health Coalition's food pantry is dedicated to alleviating hunger by providing substantial, healthy emergency food boxes to support families in need. Each box, weighing between 35 to 40 pounds, includes a variety of non-perishable staples such as canned vegetables, fruits, pasta, and essential breakfast items, along with tomato sauces and snacks. On designated days, clients can also access pantry boxes that feature protein-rich options like meat, eggs, and milk. Families are welcome to receive a food box every 14 days, ensuring they have the resources to meet their basic nutritional needs and help nourish themselves and their loved ones effectively.
