Located in Albemarle, NC, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to nurturing healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as their infants and children up to age five. WIC offers vital resources such as nutrition education, supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion and support, and referrals for health care.
