At the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA) in Smithville, MO, we are dedicated to empowering individuals diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome, along with their families and care providers, through compassionate and practical support. Our Family Support team offers a wealth of resources, including accurate information tailored to the unique challenges faced at the time of diagnosis, parent mentoring, nutritional education, and meal planning that promotes healthy living. Additionally, we provide essential behavior management support and assistance navigating the application and appeal processes for Medicaid, insurance, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).
