Rachel Wyrick

Rachel Wyrick is a pre-licensed professional therapist who understands that many individuals encounter pain and distress in their relationships with themselves and others. She believes that these relationships can act as catalysts for meaningful change, and that counseling provides a corrective relational experience that fosters development and growth. Rachel creates an authentic, non-judgmental atmosphere where clients can feel truly seen. She views counseling as a collaborative journey, working alongside her clients to set goals, explore their thoughts and feelings, and deepen their understanding of themselves and their relationships. Her role is to cultivate a safe and secure environment, harness individual resilience, build on strengths, and empower clients toward achieving their goals. She welcomes the opportunity for clients to use the counseling space as they see fit, recognizing that each person is the expert of their own life. With a special interest in supporting those seeking insight and understanding, Rachel is attentive to clients facing challenges in connecting with others and themselves. She is particularly committed to providing a safe and affirming environment for LGBTQIA+ populations, adults navigating life’s difficulties, and individuals who have experienced trauma or PTSD/complex PTSD.
