Rebecca Lazalier

Rebecca Lazalier is a compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor, MA, LPC, NCC, and Registered Play Therapist, who understands that seeking assistance can be a challenging journey, especially regarding the mental health of children. She has dedicated her career to supporting kids through tough times, ensuring they emerge healthier and more resilient. With advanced training in trauma-focused therapy, including TFCBT and EMDR, and expertise in Theraplay Level 1, Rebecca specializes in helping children who face attachment issues and have experienced trauma. Her clientele often comprises foster care or adopted children, in addition to those dealing with a range of emotional and behavioral challenges such as anger, depression, anxiety, grief, and social concerns. Rebecca earned her School Counseling Certification in 2010 from Lindenwood University, having interned in two schools, which enriches her understanding of the educational system, classroom accommodations, IEPs, and 504s. She firmly believes that parents are the experts on their children and collaborates closely with them to foster effective outcomes in therapy. Rebecca admires the courage it takes for families to embark on this counseling journey and is committed to guiding them towards emotional health. Additionally, she offers supervision for counselors in obtaining their RPT and/or LPC while working primarily with children.
