Miranda Pitonak

Miranda Pitonak is a licensed professional counselor who understands that reaching out for help is often the first, and most challenging, step toward a happier and healthier life. She recognizes the importance of finding a therapist who aligns well with one’s needs in the counseling journey. Miranda partners with her clients to explore and address their concerns, providing a non-judgmental space for them to process their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. With years of experience in a school-based environment, she has supported children, teens, and transition-aged young adults along with their families. Her expertise spans a wide array of issues, including anxiety, depression, social concerns, self-esteem issues, life transitions, ASD, ADHD, and self-harm behaviors. More recently, she has embraced telehealth to assist adults navigating life changes, anxiety, and relationship challenges. Miranda brings a compassionate focus to working with individuals in the LGBTQ community, adolescents and young adults, and those seeking career development and job-related support. In her view, clients are in control of therapy’s focus, while she serves as a sounding board, cheerleader, and reliable support system for their growth and healing.
