Alexa Antinoro is a dedicated pre-licensed professional with a Master's degree who specializes in child and adolescent therapy. She understands that many children and teens face challenges like excessive worry, emotional withdrawal, or difficulty navigating difficult transitions. Observing a child's struggle can be overwhelming for parents, and Alexa believes that seeking therapy may be the most effective step towards helping children and teens foster meaningful changes and achieve a better life balance. Recognizing that therapy can be intimidating for younger clients, she is committed to creating a safe and warm environment where children and teens can openly express themselves and address their struggles. Alexa assists her clients in discovering effective strategies to understand and manage intense emotions while replacing maladaptive thought patterns that promote healing. Her experience encompasses working with adolescents dealing with anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation, in addition to facilitating family therapy and groups. Alexa is actively pursuing her credential as a Registered Play Therapist along with DBT certification and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which further enhances her ability to support families in their journey toward healing.
