At the Jefferson County Rescue Mission in Maryland Heights, MO, we are dedicated to uplifting those in need by providing essential food assistance, clothing, and shelter to individuals and families from Jefferson County and parts of St. Louis County. Our mission extends beyond the basics, as we also support the homeless, hungry, unemployed, victims of abuse, children, the elderly, and those in dysfunctional family situations. We understand that many who come to us face challenges such as violence, addiction, and the struggle for educational or job training opportunities. That’s why we strive to offer comprehensive support, including referrals for medical and housing assistance, educational programs, and job training resources. Despite the increasing number of requests for help, we remain committed to never turning away anyone in need. Our services feature a food pantry and a soup kitchen that cater to those facing food insecurity, along with special initiatives like distributing holiday food baskets and school supplies.
