The Catholic Charities Food Pantry in Jefferson City, MO, is dedicated to alleviating hunger through its innovative grocery model pantry, which is open to the public four days a week, with evening hours designed to support busy families. Our client-choice approach empowers individuals and families to select the food they truly need from our wide variety of nutritious options. We aim to meet basic nutritional requirements by providing essential food assistance to those in need. Our pantry operates on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4-7 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., though we kindly remind visitors that we close the first Saturday of each month for the Food Bank's Mobile Pantry. To access our services, participants may set up a membership to receive monthly shopping points based on household size and ages, which can be redeemed for food across various categories. We encourage anyone interested to arrive early, as lines can grow. For convenience, members can also place online orders for scheduled pick-up. Serving 38 counties in Central and Northern Missouri, we are here to guide you to the nearest pantry if we are unable to offer you assistance directly.
