Located in Jackson, MO, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of leaders in sustainable food systems. Through a unique, tuition-free program, we empower Fellows with hands-on training and education focused on creating a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Our curriculum includes organic farming techniques, community health initiatives, and food and ecological literacy, enabling Fellows to engage actively with local markets and community gardens. Each Fellow embarks on a six-month immersive experience at our campus, followed by a Community Action Year where their skills are put into practice alongside regional non-profits. We invite aspiring advocates to apply by March each year to join us in promoting food assistance and healthy eating initiatives in our communities.
